Submitting Your Resignation

An update to our resignation process for all team members at Inspired Living QLD — effective immediately.

Hi team,

We want to let you know about an update to the resignation process at Inspired Living QLD. From now on, all resignations are to be submitted through Employment Hero, our employment management platform.

This applies to all staff, regardless of role or hours. The change is in effect immediately.

Why This Matters
Why We Are Making This Change
It protects you.
A formal submission through Employment Hero creates a clear record of your resignation date and notice period. This means your final pay and entitlements are calculated correctly.
It removes ambiguity.
Verbal or informal resignations can lead to miscommunication around dates and entitlements. The formal process keeps everything clear for everyone.
It makes offboarding smoother.
Once your resignation is submitted, the team can prepare your final pay, organise your offboarding steps, and ensure a clean handover.

The Process
How to Submit Your Resignation
Step by step
Completing this takes less than five minutes
1
Contact your Primary Manager first
Prior to submitting your resignation, reach out to your Primary Manager to let them know your intentions. This does not replace the formal submission — it is simply the right first step.
2
Log in to Employment Hero
Open the Employment Hero app on your phone or visit app.employmenthero.com. Log in with your work email address and password.
3
Click on Compliance, then Forms
From the main menu, select the Compliance section, then open Forms to view the available forms.
4
Select the Notice of Resignation Form
Find and select the Notice of Resignation Form from the list of available forms.
5
Complete the form and submit
Fill in all required fields, including your intended last day of work. A short, clear statement is fine. Double check your termination date before clicking Submit.
6
Wait for confirmation
Once you submit, an email is automatically sent to HR. The leadership team will be in touch to confirm next steps and your final pay details.
HR will contact you within 1–2 business days

Important
What We Can No Longer Accept
The following are no longer accepted as formal resignation
Verbal resignation. Telling your manager or a colleague that you are leaving, including via text or instant message.
Email resignation. Sending a resignation email to your manager, HR, or any other team member.
Simply not showing up. If you do not attend shifts without submitting a resignation, this is treated as an unexplained absence, not a resignation.
